Obama In the WorkPlace ………

Barack Obama in the work Place

First I want to say a big congrats to Obama and all he has achieved so far.  He has shown leadership qualities time and time again.

Today I really want to talk about how Barack relates to the work place.  When people see Barack most see a strong African American male “he is half black half white”.  Now I am not going to be ignorant and say it is equal in the work place, or most places in United States.   I now believe without a shadow of doubt no matter what race you are, or gender you can be anything you set your mind too.

I know millions of people who said Barack is crazy just for attempting to become president.  True Leaders don’t value the opinion of people who are not looking to move forward.   Barack if he becomes president or not has shown race should not be factor if you determined to be what you want to be.   If you look at how many minority are CEO’s of Billion Dollar companies now compared to 20 year ago it is staggering.

I personally think that when people pull the race card in game of employment or business they are looking for someone to blame.  You will hear a thing like so and so is an Oreo or whatever excuse they can think of to make themselves feel better.    Now let’s be real, sure I am going to offend some people here, but this is Jubrilagoro.com so I will say what I please.   If you look like LIL Wayne, or Amy Winehouse, Osama Bin laden, Travis Barker there is good chance you won’t get hired, and won’t have anything to do with your race.    It will be more of the stereotypical views people have, and sure they could be the best and most talented people but image would cause damage.

I see Barack as evolution and racism becoming less and less in the world.    I also would like to talk about Hilary Clinton and what she means for minorities, and women which are minorities.   Next time I will focus on Hilary and what she means to America.  Just to have both of them running ahead of the pack, we will have history either way.  Me personally 2-3 years ago would never of thought a woman or black male would have chance to be president so soon. This is America, and if you have dream you can achieve it.

Time is like a Big Hour Glass

15 May

24 Hours in a day is the Law of man on earth.   I don’t care if you are Jesus or Warren Buffet you only get 24 hours in a day to what it is that you do.  Now the biggest difference between most successful people is their ability to manage time.

This is a topic you could spend hours on and still have hours of info left on time management.    When you can effectively utilize your time in day life becomes more productive bottom line.  There are certain exercises, and plans you can put into effect to get more out of your day.  Time management starts when you are really young.   I know some children that manage their time better than adults. Student athletes have to manage time well, free time during season is very limited and it takes extreme dedication.

When it comes to adult life time management is critical.  There is right now so much I want to say, but I will do this as three part series.   I am going to ask some questions and let think about them for week.    Why do people get so easily distracted by things while online?  How do people manage to waste years of their life in front of a TV?  Why do you not know anyone that makes more 5 million dollars a year that does all the work themselves?   What Determines how much your time is worth in a dollar sense an hour?

Don’t Help Someone Dying If you don’t know them, cyclone in myanmar burma

First I want to say I hardly ever watch the news, I always get my news online 99% of the time. There was story that broke here not to long ago that I am sure you have heard of already.  That is the story of Myanmar cyclone, and sure it looks like just another 3rd world natural disaster.

I know most people will go aww… what a shame think about it for 5 minutes and return to their nice big HDTV, and watch American idol.   We have the luxury of living in great place united states, or for some Canada or England or wherever.

If we were hit with a natural disaster, of something of this magnitude I highly doubt we feel 5 % of the pain that Myanmar will feel after this.  They are going to face LONG TERM food shortages this doesn’t end next or next month for them. We can easily turn a cheek on this “current event” and say well I already have enough problems of my own.  Think about it honestly if you were in the situation of one these people you would pray that someone hears your prayers.

Now I am not saying pour entire life savings into helping people in Myanmar.   I think a good amount to pledge is 1 hour of your weekly pay check.  Most of you guys work 40 hours plus.  1 hour out of 40 hours is 2.5 % of your weekly pay.  Now even that small amount for some may be too much I know times are rough enough some here in America right now, with credit crunch, and gas prices & everything.  Give what ever you can, and if you feel you can’t afford anything, go ahead and just share this story on MySpace, or facebook or wherever in your email contacts, but just don’t stay silent.

You think your voice doesn’t matter but it does, when all those voices come together you create a snowball effect.   I am not going to keep people long since I know people are busy, have a great and productive day.

Today YOU COULD SAVE A LIFE, of someone you don’t even know.   REALLY you could save a life.

Young Entrepreneurs under 25

07 May

Young Entrepreneurs

When was the last time you met a millionaire under 25? The answer to that is not easily answered because they just look like regular kids. Most people just think they are driving daddy’s range rover or Beamer around town. The internet has really created a platform for people to make a lot of money where they are not judged on age, race, sex, religion. Online you are judged by a few things and that is just the level of results, and service you provide to the users on the other end. That has enabled teenagers to makes millions of dollars online. The products and services these young people offer vary widely.

What is it that drives, and motivates young people to accomplish more in short span than most 40 year olds have done in their lifetime? I don’t know the exact answer because every young adult has a different situation. I know the one major fact that really helps young adults succeed at blazing speed, and that is little fear. Everyone has fear but younger people have less of it. People as they grow older develop more “False appearances experiences seeming real “Fear. The mortgage, bills, the kids, the wife, if I mess up they are all counting me the fear of failure stop people before they get started. Young People really don’t have those things to worry about as much.

Young people are smarter than most people give them credit for also. Young people are innovative beyond belief and have drive to succeed. Nobody knows who is going to be the next Mark Zuckerberg, or Farrah Gray, or Ephren Taylor. One thing is for certain there will be more of them. Everyone knows the best time to be a millionaire is when you in your twenties and today is reality for more and more young adults every day.

Parents I strongly suggest you give them good book to read young at 8-9 years old you never know what they can accomplish with a little support. I know it may look weird when you see kid going through puberty and he or she has money in their checking account than you. That’s reality today, with young entrepreneurs who just go out and get it.

When people say if you dream you can achieve it. It’s something most people don’t believe. This is the number factor young people doing so well. When people grow older and things don’t go the way they plan, they start to lose belief in themselves. That’s most damaging thing a human being can do to themselves. People are just like these are my cards of life; I might as well enjoy em. When you lose that edge saying “no deal me again I don’t my like cards I gotta change em” it pretty much over. Pack it up and call it a life.

NOTHING IS REAL IF YOU DON”T BELIVE IN WHO YOU ARE

New Orleans Hornets True Winners

06 May

New Orleans Hornets

Photobucket

The New Orleans Hornets are deserving of some praise right now. They are really playing with the heart of champions right now. I don’t know of city more deserving of something good happening to them right now. Hurricane Katrina was something devastating to the city. Sports I believe bring whole cities together.

Now even if you are not a basketball fan this something in this article for you. When season started for the 2007-2008 season started nobody even had New Orleans Hornets even making the playoffs. A few people had them seeding at the very last spot in the conference. In western conference it is filled with all star household names. You have everyone from Kobe Bryant, Tracy Mcgrady, Steve Nash, Shaq, Dirk, Yao Ming, Tim Duncan, Jason Kidd, the list goes on.

At the start of the season the Hornets had not one player that had all star game under their belt. Now I a Chicago fan had nothing to cheer about all year long. The only thing was good about the season was going to see my favorite player Jesus Shuttlesworth whoop on the bulls at united center. Now back to Hornets, they have a Leader and that is established and his name is Chris Paul, then have role players that all have very important roles from Tyson Chandler “ I miss you in the chi” David West, Peja, pargo. Paul leads the charge and makes everyone better; there is no question right now that CP3 is best point in the league. The reason the hornets work so well is due to their ability to know their rolls, and their General Byron Scott “congrats on coach of the year”. People doubted them at the start of the season, people doubted them at the start of the playoffs, and people doubted them at start of the San Antonio series, now they have band wagon jumpers on board. No matter how they end this playoff run I will call them most successful team of 2008.

Reasons why

  • Coach of the Year

  • CP3 established as the best PG in the league, and well deserving of max contract this summer

  • CP3 took David West, and Tyson Chandlers game and Elevated them

  • David West and Chris Paul made all Star Team

  • They finished second in the Western Conference

  • They knocked out Dallas Mavericks

  • They are going to knock out Spurs mark my words

  • They are team that have great group of guys who stay of trouble of the court

  • They got a whole city behind them, and some

  • They play with heart and passion every night

  • They are achieving a level of success that I don’t even think they knew they could at the start of the season

  • People would not of argued if CP3 got CO-MVP

  • LAST but not Least They PLAY as a TEAM
